The mehndi party was a fun way to kick-off the wedding weekend.  Our lovely mehndi artist, Binder Tohani, did an amazing job with providing all the guests with unique designs.  Bridesmaids Elena and Trina did a fabulous job with decor and bringing plenty of bangles and bindis for all our guests!  Cocktails Ireland served fun tropical cocktails!  We thank the Dean Hotel in Dublin for being fabulous hosts with event space and food!  (Thank you to Bridesmaid Nichola for securing the event space & Mariya for all your help with the party!)

Our low-key dinner with our respective families in town for the wedding ended up growing unexpectedly to include some friends!  We ended up have a fabulous meal at Fade Street Social.

The Cassidy's Hosted the Welcome Dinner at Friel's at Staffan the evening before the wedding day.  Highlights include: Jim singing "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison, impromptu Irish dancing, a heartfelt slideshow from Matt's family who couldn't join in person (see "Irish Blessings from Afar" video), heartfelt speeches, and the the awesome traditional Irish band Maurie (the owner of Friels) hosted.

We has so much fun on our wedding day that it went into the early hours of the following morning...hence we were a little tired the next day ;-)  Despite our exhaustion at that point, we were still excited to see everyone and say our final goodbyes.
